oh i love this!! two things though: her eyes look green? and i know thats supposed to be gaps in her hair, but it looks wrong and it draws my eye and i cant enjoy the picture properly :L oh, i love it though, she looks perfect.
I really love your portrayal of her! I think that this captures her much better than the movie did (which I was very disappointed in). She didn't seem to have any character in the movie and her relationship with Harry seemed absolutely awkward.
This is by far my favorite Ginny Weasley Portrait. See, I'm kind of a stickler for my Ginny. I don't like her exceptionally masculine I don't like her exceptionally feminine I don't like her strewn across Harry (or Draco) I don't like her in seductive clothes and short skirts, and heels, and open blouses and blah blah blah I don't like her depicted as shy, nor as flirtatious. And I don't really like her depicted as Bonnie Wright yea, that's a list...
So this portrait, depicting her as perfectly human, and this trademark... "Ginny-look"... that I could see every time I re-read the 5th-7th book is just so... her. She is perfectly seductive, without being provocative. You made her gorgeous, and perfect. I don't know how to thank you for that.
Thanks so much! I really appreciate your comments, because I feel exactly the same way! Although I want to redraw this portrait, I still think I got what I was after, which was to make her look clever, funny, and completely desirable without the overt "sex appeal" everyone seems to think she has. I think it's totally possible to be tough, funny, and cute too!
