"Like" it not a strong enough word! I love it! Hamtaro Mouse Emoji-02 (Kawaii) [V1] Especially the way to do your line art! It's really cool looking. :D

This is perfect--everyone forgets that Roderick Usher isn't old, but bears an older apperance because of his prematurely white hair, addictions, melancholy, and illness, and etc. Perfect expression, its like you can tell his whole character just based off the image,...

you know, something I can't get over is the amount of detail you put in your work.. it's absoloutly breath-taking. and I love the expression you drew him, so full of pain.. it fits him perfectly. ^^

Thank you! Especially when drawing interiors, you can do so much with the details to help tell a story :)

You can look way back into my gallery and see that I once hated background too :( But just drawing the scenery around you helps out a lot for practice, and then working from your imagination makes for a more believable setting.

He has a passing mention in a song, Lady Eleanor...

In walked Rodrick Usher with the Lady Eleanor

She tied my eyes with ribbon of a silken ghostly thread

I gazed with trouble vision on an old four poster bed

Where Eleanor had risen to kiss the neck below my head

and bid me come along with her to the land of the dancing dead

Something you've done here with the composition and the proportions of dark to light make me really attracted to this piece.

Your use of minimal pattern and your mastery of claw-footed furniture and men with pained faces is good as well. :3

You put the most amazing atmosphere into your artwork. I love the gritty, sketchy look and dark colours.

I'm so happy that I found your gallery, your artwork is truly unique and refreshing compared to anything else.
