It's my 13th year on DA! I want to thank everyone who's liked, shared, and supported my work over the years. Deviantart is where I first started sharing my work online, and this community will always have a special place in my dark little heart!

I have a couple new projects that are finally ready to share:

First, my tarot deck is now available for pre-order! This has been a project that's been under wraps for nearly two years, and I'm so thrilled to finally be able to share it with everyone! It's being published by Llewellyn Books, and it will ship worldwide.
You can reserve your copy of "The Dark Wood Tarot" here!

Also, I did pencils & inks for a few issues of "Sandman: The Dreaming" this past year with DC/Vertigo. You can get issue 7 here, and issue 8 here!

And I illustrated the first cover for the newly revamped Weird Tales Magazine! You can get it here

In case you're interested in my tutorials, I have one in ImagineFX Magazine
(digital version is available here) and another tutorial featured on Clip Studio Paint

I have a few more projects underway right now, and I hope to be able to announce those soon!

There's a complete list of all my published work and shows updated on my website (for anyone interested) and as always, you can keep up with my current work on social media:

And you can grab prints and other merch here!

Hey creeps!

It's been ages since I've posted an update, but I noticed I passed my 2 millionth pageview, and with that milestone I thought it would be a good time to check in!

This past year I've been keeping busy with freelance jobs for Sideshow Collectibles, SYFY, Image Comics, Choice of Games, and most of all - my upcoming Dark Wood Tarot deck! It's going to be released in 2020 by Llewellyn Worldwide. I'm so excited to share the deck with everyone, and as soon as they put up the pre-order page, I'll update with the link.

I was also recently hired by DC/Vertigo to work on the new Sandman Universe series "The Dreaming". It's been wonderful to work on this project, considering one of the first comics I ever purchased was "Books of Magic" in the 90s, which got me interested in Sandman, and was my introduction to Neil Gaiman, Charles Vess, and so many other creators who inspired my own work. It's incredible to be able to work on the expansion of this world and get to bring my style to the series. My issues will be hitting shelves this Spring.

And last but not least, for anyone interested in learning more about my illustrative process, check out issue 170 of ImagineFX Magazine for my workshop!

Hey creeps!

It's been a while since I updated my journal, so I'm just dropping a line to let all my watchers know what's new.

First and foremost, my coloring book, Alice's Wonderfilled Adventures came out in May, and it's been incredible to see what so many talented colorists have done with it! It's almost like a collaboration, but with thousands of people - it's really exciting!

I was also fortunate enough to be hired to create the artwork for the companion game to Universal Studio's Snow White and the Huntsman sequel, The Huntsman: Winter's Curse now available on Steam and PS4. It was an enormous project, but very rewarding to work with two big studios on one of my favorite movies.

Next, I've got my own illustrated book coming out this November! H.P. Lovecraft's The Cats of Ulthar, fully illustrated and designed by yours truly, and it is available for pre-order right now through Amazon! I really can't wait to share this one with all of you!

I've got three fantasy illustration tutorials coming out later this year as well with 3DTotal Publishing in "Masters of Sketching" and a new volume of "Sketch Workshop." I hope to have release dates for those soon.

And in one of the strangest and most surprising events of this year, I was astonished to hear I'd won the Hugo Award for Best Professional Artist of 2016 - one of the greatest awards I could receive. I sadly couldn't make it out to the awards ceremony as I was at the time on my way to my grandfather's funeral, but it looked like a lovely event, and of course I am deeply honored.

Next month marks my 10th anniversary of being a Deviantart member! It's hard to believe, but at the same time it does feel like a lifetime ago when I first started posting here... So much has changed in my life, and my work itself has developed so much over the years. I've been going through my deviations and redrawing and repainting many of my old favorites, starting with my fairytale series. So if things start to look different around here, that's why!

Prints are of course still available in my online shop, and most of my escapades are detailed on my Instagram and Facebook pages, so head over to your preferred spot to keep up with my new work and adventures!

And last but not least, I don't check in on DA much these days, and my comments and notes have reached an alarming number. I don't think I'll ever get around to answering all inquiries individually, so I thought I'd mention here that anyone who's got a professional inquiry regarding hiring me for their company/freelance gig, please contact my agent, Dawn: dawn@redsofaliterary.com

As always,

Keep creeping!
